The West Pomeranian Region of ZHP, Baltic Sea Scout Troop in Kołobrzeg, together with the Unsere Pommern Association, is implementing a project titled „Reduta Solna – History Without Borders / Reduta Solna – Geschichte ohne Grenzen.”

The goal of the project is to enhance the cultural and tourist offer of Reduta Solna by introducing bilingual signage for the monument. This will be achieved through traditional information boards and modern multimedia solutions, such as a web application and QR codes.

The specific objectives of the project are:

– Making the visit to Reduta Solna more attractive through modern technologies.

– Presenting the history of Reduta Solna and the Baltic Sea Scout Troop to tourists from Poland and Germany.

– Encouraging tourists to actively explore through interactive tasks and puzzles.

– Improving access to information about Reduta Solna through bilingual signage and an application.

The project’s outcome will be an increase in the tourist appeal of the city of Kołobrzeg thanks to the new cultural and tourist offer of Reduta Solna.

The project will include the following activities:

– A web application that will serve as a guide to Reduta Solna. The application will also include field games. The field game will consist of a series of tasks and puzzles related to the history and architecture of Reduta Solna. Participants will need to use the application to locate checkpoints, read information from QR codes, and complete tasks.

– Information boards – 4 units.

– A picnic inaugurating the opening of Reduta Solna to tourists and the launch of the application.

Project indicators:

– Cross-border cooperating organizations: 2 units.
– Organizations cooperating across borders after project completion: 2 units.
– Number of cultural and tourist sites supported: 1 unit.
– Jointly developed digital solutions: 1 unit.
– Participation in joint cross-border activities: 70 participants.

EU funding: €42,203.00

The project is co-financed by the Small Project Fund under the Interreg VI-A Cooperation Program Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania/Brandenburg/Poland 2021–2027.

The project is also financed from the special-purpose reserve of the state budget.
